KROPA Forge Nestled in a Alpine valley on the southern side of the Slovenian Alps lies a quaint village named "Kropa". Kropa is famous through out Europe, as the tiny village has a metal working history stretching back 500 years. Since 1936 there has been a school for wrought iron metalworking, and the forged arts. The company, "UKO Kropa" has been in operation since 1956, and has carried the tradition on into today.
